Help with my Banana Wrasse

Hello all,
I have a beautiful Banana Wrasse that I love, one of my favorite fish. I need to add a sand sifter and a malnurus wrasse and the Banana wrasse will not let me add anything to the tank. It is a 150 gallon. These two will be the last fish i add,

So, I am re aquascaping my tank and trying to add the other fish.

Will that work?

Or what if I re aquascaped and took out the Banana Wrasse then added the others and put the banana in a couple weeks later?

Any thoughts?

Don't know what else is in your tank...
Since you listed only the Banana Wrasse and the 2 you want to add.
(melanurus Wrasse and a sand sifter of some type)

But 150 (nice tank) is near the min. size for a banana w. (125 is suggested minimum) The problem is, it's a more aggressive wrasse by far than Melanurus.

Your plan you have is pretty much your option. Re do and add Banana LAST.
But just in case it doesn't work, be prepared. The Banana could turn out to be a bully anyhow.. and wreck some havoc on the more peaceful species.
