Help with new 90 gallon with Pics

So I came across a deal for a 90 gallon tank a few blocks fom my house. It is a standard dimension 90 gallon glass tank(very thick glass) with nice shiny black stand 2 sets of JBJ power compact lighting with four bulbs in each and are 48 inches long. It also has a sump but the man cant find it so I offered him 60 bucks and it was a deal.
So I have decided to upgrade my cichlid display tank as they need the room more. There is no overflow built in, the previous owner has one with the sump he cannot find at the moment. So my options are finding and overflow box and sump somewhere which is not really hard on craigslist. Or I can purchase another emperor 400 and have two plus a Rena XP3 on the 90 gallon for filtration. Eventually it could become a reef tank but that would be down the line after another upgrade. So what would you do? I am kinda concerned about and oveflow box because of reliability. Also my house was built in 1901 and currently has no issues holding my 60 gallon and 40 gallon tanks so should I be concerned about the 90 + or - the sump? Lastly only one of the lights fires up and I have heard some bad things about JBJ and heat and fire issues so should I be concerned about the power compacts? Thanks all

I would go on the Do it Yourself Forum and look at the Bean animal thread for your plumbing:

Plan ahead and take it slow. Do it right the first time. There are plenty of sump plans in the DIY forum and great instructions on melevsreef.com. I would pick out a protien skimmer before you build a sump (so you know it will fit). Your skimmer and your lights are your two most important pieces of equipment. Good luck!
