Help with Red Planet

My RP has developed a white stringy looking area on some spots on the under side of the branches. What is this, should I dip it? It has lost it green color and browned out a little but it is new to my tank. Lighting is 250w 20k flow is high alk 8 ca 420-460 ph 7.8-8.0. I did have a low temp swing a few days ago, when to 70 degrees. I did loose my Bottle Brush frag but everything else has been fine. Please help, I dont want to loose this sps, I have wanted a RP for a while.

could be reaction to feeding, or bugs. Red bugs possibly.

Did you dip it before putting it in your tank?

No Red Bugs. I had them a few years ago. I now dip everything that goes in the tank. I did feed the tank and sps a little while before I swa this but I dont think it is feeders.

Post a pic if you can. My RP has long white stringy feeders. Almost looks like my millies feeders.

I think it was feeders. They have gone way now and the coral has good PE. I got scared for a while.
