Help with something on porites

Just noticed this on a yellow porites I've had for a few months now. It is what appears to be a transparent mass in an area of relative lower flow where two braches meet. seems there are a couple of polyps extending through it.

Advice as to what it is and what I should do would be arrpeciated.

and on an aditional note. Now that my lights are off, the transparent "growth" seems to have inflated somewhat.
