help with this one please

ok I have a stupid ? and I think i know the answer but, When you run some of your rotifer water throught a strainer to feed to your larva tank does the rotifers get stuck in the strainer and that is what you tap into the fry tank? Then i am guessin you throw away that water that went through the strainer right? I have been looking for about an hour and can't find a exact answer. please help

I'm not to sure what you mean by tap them. I strain my through the sieve ( over a sink ) then turn the sieve upside down and run fresh saltwater through the bottom of the sieve to flush the rotifers out of the sieve into another plastic container. Then I either enrich the rotifers or just feed them to the larvae tank.
So yes, you throw the water away down the sink and add fresh 1.019 saltwater to your culture.
