i was just wondering what could possible happen to my rainbow zoa, when i first got them, they had a orange and yellow center, but over time, the coloration faded and now its mainly pink the center.. could it be water cond or lighting system? i'm running 400 watts in a 22 inch depth tank..

both, zoas look different in one persons set up to another, lights, water condition.

Try moving them up a little or down a little in your tank. Sometimes the zoas brown out if they don't like the light level.
How long since you have changed your bulbs? Old bulbs don't put out all the spectrum they did when they were new. I change mine at least every 6 months.
Are you spot feeding them? Cyclopeeze, Coral Frenzy, White Snow, or something?
