Help zoas not oppening

Hi, I have a little frag of zoanthids and for 3 days it didn't opened.
The watter parameteres are ok and I have plently of flow and light. Here go a picture of it:

I have already made a 10 minute lugol dip.
Any ideas, help?

I see a few spots lower on the stalks. Look closer and see if you find little white pimply things on them. Could be zoa pox. I had it on a colony of palys a few months ago and beat it with the furan2 dip method.

If you dipped did anything fall off? Also were all polyps closed when you dipped? Sometimes they won't open for a day after a dip. You can also try freshwater dip but I would first move them off the sand and closer to the light and see if that helps.

I can see the spots too.
Could be zoa pox, yes.
If it's zoa pox -> treatment with Furan-2.

Hi thanks for the help so far.
I made another Dip and moved them from place. But lugol solution looks likes that does nothing.
I live in Portugal and I don't know wherer to buy Furan-2. Is there another pharmacy product alternative?

Hey PAPA,

Furan-2 has:
Sodium chloride
Nitrofurazone
Silica amorphous, fume, crystalline free
furazolidone

Sodium chloride makes more than 90% followed by Nitrofurazone and silica amorphous with 1 to 5 %, than furazolidone with less than 1%.

You could be able to order online, if you don't find in your local store.

Or you could try Nitrofurazone only and see if that helps.
