If you have a magfloat, run that around the sandbed and rocks to see if it will pick it up. Since the razor is metal, it will rust. I'd do whatever you can to get it out.
The magnet sounds like a good idea. To avoid these sort of mishaps I use my blade in a handle (can pick one up in the paint section of any hardware store) for less than 5 bucks.
