Help!!!

I figured I post here since most of the people with Calcium reactors would be here.

I set my calcium reactor up somewhat recently. At first I thought I had it dialed in right, but, after checking a fedw days later, my Alk was at 12dkh!!! Which setting would I change to lower that?? Would I restrict more water coming out of the effluent or dho I just lower the amount of CO2(in turn lowering the BPM)??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

lowering the co2 entering the system would help. Also slow the rate of water from the reactor.

Also try a water change if you notice some corals reacting to the new ALk levels.

So far, I havent noticed any adverse side effect on the corals, should I do a waterchange anyway???

If you see some wrong with corals like little polpy extension, or none at all do a water change now. But if you see nothing wrong you can probably let it come down by itself.
