After quarantine all my fish to treat for ich they all seemed to clear up after 3/4 days however today my dogface puffer has spots again and mucus all over him. One of His eyes are also very cloudy. Could I have misdiagnosed.?
What else could it be. ??

Any advice greatly appreciated.

No no. They are in quarantine for 6 weeks. I'm just saying they cleared up after 3/4 days but now seem to be deteriorating again.

I used a copper based ich treatment, raised the temp and slowly lowered the salinity. All seemed to be going really well at first but now my puffer is really struggling.

Where is your salinity set at? Are you using a hydrometer or a calibrated refractometer? If using refractometer did you calibrate with test solution or R.O. water?

Do NOT raise temperature, it decreases dissolved oxygen. Ideal would be around 75F.

My salinity was tested with a calibrated refractive tee and is currently at 1.20. It is usually around 1.26.
Temp is set at 78f.
