heniochus acuminatus: white stringy material

Hi everyone. This is my first post on RC. :wavehand: Been in the hobby for about a year now. I am hoping someone can help me diagnose and reccomend treatment for one of my banner butterflyfish. I have two (bought locally at the same time, along with a Flame Angel) and this one appears to have some sort of bacterial or viral infection. See picture. I do not believe it is Ich. The material on him appears to be white and stringy, not like sand. He's had these white spots on him off and on for a couple of weeks but today it seems to have gotten worse and his eye's are cloudy. He was eating very well... up until this morning where he seemed to be vaguely interested in the food, but as he approached it he darted off as if he were afraid of it. The other is H. acuminatus appears to be perfectly healthy, as with all the other fish, including the Angel. Any suggestions.

Thanks all.:fish2:

I know it's hard to tell by the picture, but the white spots are really white stringy material. They move back and forth on the fish. I don't recall ich looking like that. I have had ich break out before when I introduced a sponge into my previous 75g tank. Between the sponge conducting chemical warfare and the ick attacking all of my fish, I had a major tank crash. I lost just about everything and that's when I upgraded to a 125g. I kept the few clean-up crew and LR fallow for probably 3 months before introducing any new fish.
