heniochus black and white butterfly fish

none, but I think that it may be a little too small of a tank. Been told they are hard to care for too...Thats all I have...

The b;ack & white is probably not the reef safe kind. The schooling banner is more likely to be reef safe.

I have one and have had a few. I have purchased four over time, only two made it out of QT. My first I had for two years, died in an ick outbreak brought on by a tank move. The one I have now has been in my display, for 8-10 months and only started eating pellets last week! Eats frozen anything & everything like I never feed it!

I think a 75g is minimum and that will only work for a few years, they can get pretty big in time, but do grow fairly slow. Very very peaceful, beautiful fish IME. I wish I had two they would be awesome to watch.

I have had one for about two- three yrs.

Beautiful fish, very active, always swimming around out in the front, gets along w/ other fish - but can be picked on (by my yellow tang).

They do get big. I bought mine for a 90 gal. fowlr tank - it was about 3 in. now it is about 6-7 inches in body length, way too big for a 55 gal. tank.

I now have a 220 reef and have the b/w heni in a holding tank to sell b/c not reef safe.

ok I was just wondering because i saw one and some sites saw they can be in a 55 but I dont want the fish to be too cramped. thanks for the replies!
