Hello, I'm new to sumps and appreciate any advice you guys have. I currently am cycling the tank with Dursos. It is gurgly! I want to switch to Herbies but have only 2 bulkheads, 1" in each of the 2 overflows. The overflow boxes are small and I don't think there would be any room to drill another hole for the emergency drain. I also have the tank very close to the wall so I don't think there would be any room to drill the back. People I trust told me I can set up one overflow as the main drain and the second as the emergency. I am just trying to figure out how high to set the standpipes? The tank is ~340 gallons with a 75 gallon basment sump and a Mag 18 with about 11' of head pressure. I would like to add another return pump in case the one goes out but also don't know how to make sure I don't overflow my tank or run the sump dry. I have some pictures but can't figure out how to attach them. Thanks in advance.
