so here is my second atempt at a salt water tank, I fish had a regular 10g and decided after setting it up, for about 4 months I decided I wanted something more compact. I went with the biocube, which was recommended to me, by the salesperson. I am a complete noob at this so i have no idea really, but I liked the looks of it, so here it goes.

I transfered my sand, water and one piece of live rock over to the biocube and bought 4 more lbs, I also got a shrimp. I have the 3 fish you see, a shrimp and a hermit crab, one just died.

and the shrimp you see in the pic, that is just his shell, he shed, it was pretty sweet.

Cool but I'd get those damsels out eventually and replace them with more peaceful fish. Really 2 fish is enough for an 8g.

Looks clean! Keep it up.

so is the black and white one the violent one? They all seem to get along well, but if you guys say so...

also i may head to the pet store today...what should i get? I was thinking and aneome and maybe a sea urchin..tia.

the sand and the water was setup for about 8 months with 1 piece of live rock and the 3 fish, i basically just moved it to this new tank, which has been doing really well since about January 2nd.

Any suggestions, Im leaving as soon as my gf gets out of the shower! Thanks!

i would skip an anemone in a small tank. just asking for trouble. A frogspawn or hammer coral would do much better.' nice harpoon IpA by the way.i am an iPA nut and love the dogfish head90minute IPA over everything right now!

I like the way you set up the live rock. Would an urchin be OK in there?
On a side note, IPA's are good most of the time, but there's nothing better than a rich wheat ale. Bell's out KZoo, MI had some dynamite wheat ales a year ago. They were only a limited run though. :(
