Hermit crab eggs

Is this blue-legged hermit crab doing what I think it's doing?! This piece of coral was only placed a week ago and those weren't there. I suppose it's possible those are snail eggs, but this hermit didn't eat any while I watched.

hermit crab eegs are inside the shell and they expell it. There are videos in youtube showing that. I dont know what dose could be...
