Hermit crab ID

I picked up this hermit crab in Manzanillo Mexico.

I have been trying to ID it for about 3 months.

He does a great job with the Algae.

Noone seems to know who he is.

That's Calcincus californiensis.

Thanks but , Why can"t I find a picture anywhere.

I have seen the red leg hermit and it doesn"t look the same

The common name for this sp. is "scarlet reef hermint."

That's what I thought too,

But mine has 2 lobster like claws that are brown with orange outlines.

You can see it in the middle of the pic.

Oh my bad. I didn't notice that. Wow, I'm not familiar with that species. It looks like Leslie is on the ball as usual.
