Hermit Crab ID

Here's a PIC of my Hermit Crab. I thought that it was a Starry Hermit Crab, but I learned that Starry's are thus named because of their starry eyes that look blue (see second PIC). My Hermits' eyes are black, not like the Starry's. What kind are mine? Here's the link to mine.

Given the lighting in your picture, I'm not 100% sure; but, due to the shape and spots on the legs, I'm pretty sure it is a Dardanus megistos

A picture of it is on page 287 of Calfo & Fenner's Reef Invertebrates book.

Thank you. You are 100% right. I found that name a few months ago, but I forgot. Do you know if that Crab has a common name? Wait I found it. It is commonly called the White Spotted Hermit crab, or the Red Hermit Crab.TY
