hermit crabs and feather dusters??

i'm wanting to put a feather duster or two in my 29 gal., but i have a few hermit crabs already in the tank. would there be a problem or can they co-exist?

Yes they can. I have 3 feather dusters in my tank with 4 hermits. What I do is when I get the worm home dig a little hole were you plan on placing him. Make it just deep so the top part will stick out of the sand a half inch. Fill the top over so its only abit of the tube coming out of the sand bed. They seem to do this on their own as my first 2 did that I just help the last one I got. I have seen the hermit hanging off the side of the tube just picking away with the worm out filter feeding like always. They worm can go under the sand bed way faster then any hermit can grab him.

ok cool. i wasn't sure about it coz a friend had hermits and then added some feather dusters which were eaten. he must not have "planted" them in the sand.
