I went home for lunch today and found what I though was one of my scarlet hermits out of their shell, dead on the sand. After inspection of both hermit shells, and finding them occupied, I am convinced what I found was the molted exoskeleton of one of the hermits. It was not discolored in any way:
I removed the molt and went back to work. Sitting in a meeting, unable to break away, my phone starts to blow up with texts from my wife:
To which I replied: "Take pictures"
And here I am at a break at work with 2 hours left before I can get back to see what is going on...
There is a lot of excitement in this tank, considering we have not even purchased our first fish yet!

OMG! His shell cam off and he is crawling around without it and the other one is chasing him
He's eating him!!!
I hate this

He's back in his shell but I think it's too heavy to flip for him
His shell just fell all the way to the sand
They are fighting
Half of him is missing
How long will he last without his shell?
I'm stressed out! I can't find him. He's cruising around
The emerald crab is out too, probably looking to eat him!!
He went into the emerald's den...we will see if he makes it out alive
I see him!!!
I can't move from this tank now! Getting nothing done
He's on the sand but won't go towards any shells!
