Hex tank sump ideas

I am setting up a 60gal hex tank. the dimensions inside the stand are 22x13x30. I am trying to get the best sump setup going right off the bat. I would like 3 areas, one that is a biological filtration with lots of rock rubble, a refugium, and a stright sump to load all of my equip. I am thinking of a round 18 gal tub like this:

that would be the refugium and sump, and then stacking a 10gal glass tank on top for the rock rubble. What do you think? Ideas for improvement? What am I missing?

I have a 60g hex. I am using a 15g tank as my sump/refugium. I dvided it into three different chambers, the first for my skmmer, the second for my sand/rubble/chaeto, and the last for my return pump. The sections are small but it seems to work. I needed to find a skimmer that didn't take up much space, I am using an Urchin Pro, it has the smalles footprint I could find.
