hey guys first post. need help with this sump

so I picked up a 175 gallon tank and it's already set up for reef with 2 corner overflow's. I'm trying to plan my sump right now and the one that came with the tank is a bit strange. I'm going to attach a photo of the sump.

I'm trying to decide weather to remove the ramped portion and reconfigure it or just leave it. I have a hang off refuge so it doesn't need to be in the sump. I'll also attach a pick of the tank. thanks all

What are you calling the "ramped" portion?

Yeah remove the ramp in the sump or you will have detritus build up under it

I have seen a lot of sumps and I have never seen one with a ramp like that. I would remove it.
