Clowns are cool but they are much more fun and interesting when they are hosting something..............anything other than wiggling against the corner glass.

Enjoy them and let's hope you don't regret having them later on.
Clark's anemonefish can be very aggressive especially once they have an anemone to protect. When we first opened we had a 90 gal in-wall display with a pair of Clark's that hosted in a Merten's carpet anemone and the female was responsible for a couple of deaths ( only two that I can pin on her but I suspected a couple of others.) I watched her push a passing Potter's angel into the anemone one day and another time I was introducing a cleaner shrimp into the aquarium and as I released it she swam up and grabbed it and put it into the anemone as well. She was a ****!
We use to also keep a lone Clark's with anemones so people could see the fish hosting with anemones for sale and that little ( insert word from above) would bite you ever time you went into the tank. It wouldn't just bite you , it learned to bite you in the webbing between your fingers.
Dave, my female clown does the same thing and goes for the webbing between my fingers everytime. She brings blood. I have tried thumping her in the "nose", etc, all to no avail.
hahahahaha. yeah i know. i had a pair of clarkii's back in 96 or 97. but these are the last one's added to the tank and everyone else has seniority. maybe that will help.
