Hichhiker Urchin.....Friend or foe????

Have 2 of them in my tank now, both spotted the other night with a flashlight. Funny thing, I have not added any new corals for over a year! Perhaps they are Houdini Urchins?? :lol:
Are these friend or foe??

looks extremely similar to my rock eating urchin, cool guys they just munch holes in the rocks

After more research, I think it is called a Viridis Urchin....
Still not sure if I should remove it or not, any ideas??

I have 4 of them in my reef, after 3 years, the worst you can expect is that it may coraline algae, hair algae, and macro algae.

yup viridis is the same as i have, i'd leave it, i'm very happy with mine, he's a great addition to the variety of your livestock, mine is barely an inch diameter how large is yours ?

Mine are pretty small even after 3 years, only 2 inches diameter. including spikes. I have a similar one, more purple, without the white at the base of the spikes and more oval shaped, that grew to about 4 inches.

They were all sold as the same thing
