high flow and sand

i just removed the bulk of my lps corals from my 125 and re dirrected my penductors from shooting at the surface to on the rockwork... flow is great but im adding 2 high flow maxijet mods in a couple days and the sand is already blowing. i kinda hate the look of CC but am willing to give it a try. at my work we have a tank with regular sand mixed with shells and small pieces of rock and it seems to do decent.. or i can just make the bottom a "rubble zone" with larger pieces making it possible to have even more corals...

confused

if anyone has pics of their tanks with high flow and crushed coral, mixed sand/shells/rocks, or just a rubble bottom, i would love to see it...

As long as the sand isn't blowing onto the corals I am personally fine with the sand going every which way. That is what it naturally does and it will prevent detritus from settling in the sand.

no, i have a huge divet(sp?) in the middle of my tank with glass showing and its covering the clams... thats with the mj's 2/3 up in the tank...

how does everyone else deal with flow?

Are the mjs at opposite ends aiming at each other? Sometimes repositioning helps. In my 125 tall (only 5ft long) I put them at opposite ends so the crashing flow meets over my rocks. I have a 1" fine sand bed.
