High flow pumps (around 3600 gph)

I am looking for a high flow pump that will be a return for a 480 G tank. I see you carry the impeller for the Mag 3600, which I am very happy with all the Mags I currently have. Just wondering if you could get me a Mag Drive 3600 or recommend something similar. Looking for at least 3000 GPH at 4'

Hi Rich,

Danner had discontinued the 2400 and 3600, but i've heard they might come back.

For that size tank though, i would highly recommend an external pump. They are much more dependable and last longer and can get those high flow rates with less wattage. The Reeflo Dart or Hammerhead would be a good choice for lots of flow without a lot of energy used.

I use a MAG 3600 on my pond. It does a great job pushing the water 40+ ft away from where the pump sits in my lower pond, with only 6 or so ft of head pressure though. But DAM is that pump NOISY!! I hear it humming 10ft from my pond, I would HATE one inside a house!!

Do what Jason suggests, get a Dart!!
