Hikari Jumbo Mysis - Anyone else use it?

Forgot about running out of frozen mysis. Ran up to grab some from one of the LFS. I've always used PE mysis. Tried Hikari in the past, but the shrimp were smaller than the PE and seemed to fall apart more than the PE.
I always pick up the large (40oz) pack of PE.Store was out of all but the small 8oz packages. They had Hikari Jumbo mysis, which I had never seen before. Picked up a 16oz package to give it a try.
Thawed some down, and was surprised at the size of the shrimp. Larger than the PE. "Good", I thought, figuring the larger fish would enjoy the larger pieces. Some of the shrimp were also broken into smaller pieces, just like the PE. The shrimp were also much more white than the PE.
Dumped it in, and every last fish- every one of them- spit it out. Every piece any of the fish picked up, they spit it back out.
Anyone else try and have luck with the Hikari jumbo mysis? I've never put any kind of frozen food in the tank and had the fish spit it out.

My fish won't eat that stuff at all. I still throw it in until it's all gone though.
They flat out attack the PE

I'm mixing rods and pe right now. I think there is less po4 in rods.

I've fed it for years and my fish devour it. I quit feeding PE due to price, extremely high phosphate content and the oils shut down the skimmer for an hour or two.

I did notice that the water in the cup used to thaw the shrimp was much "cleaner". I usually use a turkey baster and pull most of the thaw water out and squirt it around at the corals. There wasn't much to squirt last night. And you're right about the price. The reason I picked up the Hikari was because I didn't feel like getting bent over for the price charged for the small pack of PE. I didn't even look to see how much the Hikari was. I've been buying PE for so long, and I just assumed Hikari was close to the same price. When they rung it up, I was surprised how much cheaper it was than the PE.
The fish get pellets throughout the day, and nori at night. It's not like the mysis is their only source of food. I guess I'll just cut way back on the mysis until the fish start to accept it. Until then, my CUC will be working overtime.

My fish react the same way. Spit it out and won't eat it.

yeah, I gave it a week. No luck. They never touched it. Went out and bought some PE last night. Fish gobbled it up. Just for grins, I went ahead and mixed in some of the PE and a hikari together. Fish still spit out the hikari. Guess I'll feed it to the anemones.
