I have just purchased a baby Hippo Tang. It is about 1 1/2 inches to 2 inches long. It is currently housed in 45g tank. Eating well, no signs of stress, and interacts well with the other fish.
It has a dark, almost purple, forehead. Is that normal?
The tang is from the Solomon Islands. I watched it at the LFS for about two weeks before I purchased it, very healthy and active and ate well.
