I bought some very nice live rock from another reefer that was breaking down his tank. ( Thanks Mark ) I brought it home dry a couple hour trip. Then I put it in a covered trash can for holding until I can finish getting my tank set up. I'm planning on having it done next weekend. The rock has been in the trash can for 8 days now with heat, flow, and air but no light. I look at it often and found out the second day that a couple snails and several very small stars which are green had survived the trip. Well tonight when I went out to look at my rock I found this. Is it what I think it is? Is it my first coral? Is so what type?

Alright please click link since I don't have the posting picture thing down yet.

So how much vinegar do I need to use to eliminate them? I just place the nnedle dead center, correct? Once I do this is it then okay to put my rock back in the trash can? I'll look all the rock over good before I place it in the tank.
