I am not certain what this is...the dark brown/black color is throwing me off.

it look like a Aiptasia is a pest anemone that can take over your tank if you don't get rid of it. They can be brown, yellow, clear, or a few other colors. If you aren't sure if something is aiptasia, poke it with something. If it sucks into the rock, it is likely aiptasia. If it just folds up, it is probably a harmless poly
 
I wish I could say I am not familiar with aiptasia, but I am....it may be aiptasia but it looks nothing like the ones I have seen.

That said, it does suck in...but thought maybe could be some sort of tube worm given the unusual appearance.
 
it does not really look like an aiptasia to me. it looks like a form of tube worm, feather duster perhaps. would need a few more pics to be sure though.
 
I agree w/ the above poster (and not simply because we are in the same location!) -- It looks like an atractive tube worm/feather duster.
 
yea, after seeing the second picture i will have to stay with my first answer of it being a form of tube worm or feather duster. defilently not an aiptasia. perfectly harmless filter feeder.
