Posted this earlier, but I couldn't see the pictures. Take two. Any help identifying would be appreciated. This came on some live rock. Half was squashed by another rock. Looks like new growth between the live and dead portion.
Thanks all. I believe it's Caribbean Rose coral from searching the name. The rock is aquacultured rock from Florida (Gulf Live Rock), so it makes sense. I ordered twice from them and received lots of life each time at a great price compared to my LFS.
