Hitchhiker sponge care question

I have a hitchhiker sponge on one of my LR pieces. I'm not sure I'll ever ID it, but it looks like the kind of sponge you buy for hobby/cosmetics (straw colored, small pores, uneven shape). It's growing slowly.

It's in a dark area of the rock, under an overhang, in an area of low light. As it's growing, and seems to be doing OK, should I leave it where it is, or should I try to move the LR (which is, of course, at the bottom of the pile)?

I'm guessing that if it's doing fine, it's better to leave it where it is. Any opinions?

Sponges are not photosynthetic so out of the light is best.
This will keep algae from growing on the outer area of the sponge.

Sponges filter feed, so as you feed phytoplankton to your corals, the sponge will feed as well.

I fit made it this far, it must have the conditions it wants. The only thing you could do is increase feedings of very small foods like rotifers...but I doubt that's even necessary and it is getting what it needs already
