I bought hammer coral frag today and was doing a bayer dip on it when I notice this ball come off the coral. I thought a loose tentacle came off or something but then I notice it open up and start crawling on the side of the container. It looks like some kind of flatworm.

Anybody know what it is?

Bahhhhhhh

Polyclad flat worm, they get a heck of a lot bigger than an inch.

Kill it kill it kill it.

Here's the one that I think was responsible for the death of a 6" deresa clam I got:

it was smashed and flushed! :uzi:

I edited my last post. Check out the vid.

Yours actually looks like an Acro predator.

Looking past our little glass boxes and looking at them in nature, it's actually pretty mind blowing that such a creature even exists. Do a YouTube search for "polyclad flatworm", you'll even see a video of one chasing down crabs. Pretty wild stuff man. Some of them are actually quite beautiful in an alien/horror movie kind of way.
