As the thread states..My RBTA has decided to take a tour of the tank and seems to have found a spot pretty much on top of my Squamosa. I am thinking I need to move the clam. Or should I wait a while and see if the anemone moves out? Is the clam in immediate danger?

Thanks,

Mark

I've not run across anything that could sting a clam, but I'd talk to a real expert first. I imagine moving it would be a wise thing...

I had some problems with my rose BTA sting corals when it decided to start roaming the tank. I tried the ice thing and some others but I found the quickest and least stressful (to you and the anemone) way to move them is to point a small powerhead at them in the general direction that you want them to move. All it took was an MJ 600 about 12" away stuck to the glass to "convince" him to go just where I wanted. Anyways good luck.

The rose is still almost on top of the clam and both seem quite happy. the clam is fully extended and loving life. I have seen no need to move either.
