Hole In My Maxima

I jusat got my first clam about a week ago. I noticed this hole in it tonight. Is this normal or should I be worried?

Thats it's incurrent siphon. "his mouth" And the other end is his exhalent siphon.

the photo is kinda blurry but it looks like the clam has a tear just above the incurrent siphon. i wouldn't worry about it though because the clam looks fine otherwise and should repair itself over the next few weeks
