I'm sure this has been asked before, but the "search" option is not working for me!
I have a LARGE toadstool that I've had for several years now. The other night I noticed it had a hole in the top of it. It gets them every now and again, but not as deep as this one.
I swabbed it out, and have been swabbing it daily. I've also applied a reef disinfectant (ie: iodine) to the hole over the past few days. The leather seems none to worse for the wear. It's opening and when open you can't even notice it.
My main concern is the hole's about 3/4" deep. It's not a worm. There are no signs on any of my other leathers, and it's at the top, not the bottom. Also, nothing new has enetered the tank for at least a year.
Just any help you have would be greatly appreciated! Keep doing what I'm doing? Any other tricks? Thanks in advance!
