Holy Zoa poop!

Okay, so I know that zoas do indeed expel waste and stuff. Well the other night when I looked into my nano, it looked like someone had unreeled a cassette tape in there, and it was all stringing out of my pink zoas! :eek2:

We're talking multpile mouths stringing loose these 6 inch long or so brown threads. Has anyone experienced this? Waste, or that...other photosnythethic thing they do? =P

yeah, seen them do that before, but dont know why.

actually, i see my frogspawn do that quite frequently.

yuuuuueeeeee... grows :lol: yeah i think thats normal cause mine do that most of the time and well more the orange skirt with yellow mouth ones they do same as yours reefwifey.... but the waist it used to go to the filter but i been seen that the bicolor blenny is recycling why?? he is eating my zoas poouu... grows if you ask me... :lol:

yup, expelling zoox..
I have always seen it after i messed with a colony a lot, or had it out of water for a while.. I attribute it to stress. It doesnt happen very often at all with mine.

Hey Matt, those little blues in the forground look familier?
I was suprised to see such....long ribbons of the stuff. A few of my other morphs will put out a black ball or two occasionally. They arn't stressed in anway, happy as can be.
