Hello reefers I am now to the hobby (4 months). On Sunday I came up with the idea to make this skimmer to help control nitrates.
I used a cleaner vacuum from Amazon $6, air pump from Amazon $6, a wood air stone from Amazon $2.50, and a old corona bottle $free.
I just pushed the smaller air hose through the larger vacuum hose and ran it to the airstone. Please take a look at the video and give me some feedback. I haven't seen anyone out there do it like this this so I am not sure if this is worth a damn. Thanks for your feedback..
