hope some one can help with devils hand

I have no clue what is wrong with my devils hand. I have a 55 gal that has been set up for a year and I have just a few small other softies in the tank that are just fine and even my devils hand is growing like a bad weed. it is about 3 weeks old was fine when I picked it up and like I sad it is growing and fast! but there are white spots popping up around the base of the fingers. the wife thinks they are stretch lol
tank parameters are
ammonia. 0
nitrite 0
nitrate. 0
PH 8.0
and that is all I got for ya. I do water changes every 2 weeks about 10% or more. ok here are the pictures I hope you can help! and from what I can tell no one is picking on it I check every night and morning and the only one that is ever around it is my starry blenny.

it could be either tissue necrosis from a number of reasons but more than likely it is probably in the proses of dropping frags on its own. Some times different soft corals will do that.

I might be a little late posting here but it is simply fragging itself. the fingers will drop off on there own and stick to any piece of rock you put them on.only problem is getting them to stay on the rock untill they stick lol. Happy fragging.
