hosting a leather

i think that my clowns have decided to host my finger leather. the "fur" things that normally are out have receded. will this cause the leather to die or be unhappy?

Your leather will be irritated for a bit, but will get use to it. Leathers also typically "close up" and condense every once in a while for a growing cycle. Mine do it about every day or every other day at least.
