How about Hawaii?

Has anyone went diving in Hawaii? Any pictures you have you would like to share? I really would like to see some of the pictures as I would like to dive there some day. Thanks!

I have dove around many of th e islands. The more touristy islands have some reefs n poor shape. There are a lot of nice protected area. Most of the coral is porites lobate, P. compressata and lots of acropora. there is not a lot of coral diversity. Many fish and pelagics to see. I like diving on the big island the best since the ocean is very deep at only 100 ft from sure. this makes the visibilty great

I dove 6 dives on Oahu back in May. THe diving was great.... not much on the coral side of things, but I dove some nice wrecks. Like stated above really nice fish there. I am from Texas and I am a requent diver of the Gulf, so I have on thing to say about hawaii water.....ITS COLD! 3mil wet suit works wonders! Have fun. If you are on Oahu, call up Oahu Scuba Divers they are great to dive with, I have a dive master all to my self.

My husband and I have been to Kaui, Maui and just recently the Big Island (Kona Side). We mostly snorkled since he isn't certified, but we did do a discovery dive and then a manta ray night snorkel (awesome, awesome experience). Here are a couple of pics.
