How about them Dodgers

Dodger Stadium is the greatest place on earth. 45,000 fans a night win or lose. As long as they are winning the Angels will draw fans, if that is what you call them when they leave in the 6th inning.

GTrestoration,

Right on comment with an all farm system infield. While it is possible, I think the Dodgers Org should be ashamed that we pay $5.50 for a Dodger Dog, I'm 23 and I remember $3 dogs and $5 bucks for peanuts, man Roger the Peanut guy used to get tips, but with these prices how can he, and he is a California Icon.

As for the team, I have been bleeding blue my whole life and I have season tickets so I have a right to complain. Go Dodger Blue

As long as they continue to fill the seats with buyers and get the TV money, no reason to change. I lost a lot of interest in the team (not baseball in general) when the Dodgers' dropped San Bernardino as an A-ball team. Seeing those kids play for nothing but hope is real fun. Add to that you can follow them up into the majors and as they come to bat or make a play, "hey, that Konerko guy played for the Stampede at Perris Hill Park" They traded Konerko and Dennis Reyes to the Reds to get RP Jeff Shaw in 1998.
Since we already know nothing has happened since 1988 some of the trades made are real questionable.

I think if LA would have allowed Peter O'Malley to build the NFL stadium and bring the team to his property he'd still own the (his family) team and we'd also have football back a long time ago. Instead we've had someone that just bought it for TV rights and now someone that I still question motives. Now they can bury the NFL in the Coliseum where people like myself wont go.

I remember I was a Sophmore in high school when that move was made. He set a record for saves as a Dodger, but the next season it was like he was pitching batting practice, some deep balls hit in Dodger Stadium (a supposed pitchers park, when guys like Lowe are not pitching). Frank McCrook, err McCourt is a dollar signs owner. If he cared about the team, the true traditions like clean shaven ball players would come back. The Yankees do it with Stienbrenner, and they are still winners. The current GM, seems to know the game, but the moves are questionable, we all knew Baez, was a bad move because he was in Tampa Bay.

I am 46 and I remember when you could sit in the pavilions and the upper reserve for $.50- $1 and dodger dogs were about the same

I still think McCourt bought the team for the land and will demand the City build him a new stadium on city owned land. Maybe in the shadows of the pointy building or level skid row.

At 49 my recollection was $1.50 for top deck but then I didn't buy the tickets at the time. We drove in the day of the game and bought GA top deck never reserved.
But then gas was less the 25รƒโ€šร‚ยข/g and a 5 loaves of white bread could be yours for a buck.

Anything else kids?

That is so funny, that all of us know our team so well. Awesome end of August and a weak September that puts them out of reach for October. Except for 2004 that was a fluke because for once all the Dodgers were playing as they were paid to. Guys like Jayson Werth(less) Izzy, and about 7 other guys on the field that are not with the Dodgers anymore.

LA needs a football team. I hate watching Monday Night/Sunday Football and rooting for another nearby team. Ive been a cowboy fan since we lost our last LA team.

Awesome game fo sho last night...
