I have alot of this reddish brown astro-turf looking algae on my rocks. When looked at closely it is in little chains like feather caulerpa. i think it is called turf algae?

is it a nutrient loving algae that spreads when nutrients are high like hair algae? or does it just grow because its there and the lights are shining.

what'll eat it?maybe a mexican turbo?last time i had one of those it vaccumed my 55 so clean that it starved to death.(I didnt have muh rock then)

its really starting to annoy me when people ask, "Why are your rocks kinda fuzzy like that?" and when little tufts of it poke in between my zoas. but the worst thing is that it hinders my coralline.

what should i do?
