How can I make waves in a 300gal 8’ tank?

As the title states what would be the most effective way to make waves in my 8’ tank? I want just enough to keep the tank clean but I also want to avoid ugly power heads and such.

A big bendy straw and blow realllly hard......LOL Well you could try a wave box, there are a couple on the market. Tunze is probally the best. Are you looking for water surface waves, or just really good water movement? If it is random movement looked at a closed loop with a oceans motion 4 or 8 way.

I'm really just looking for water movement. I want to stop things from settling on the bottom. Which of those choices would be the cheapest and which would you most recommend? This tank is still in the design process and I want to do it right the first time.

I'd go with a closed loop with 4 streams.

Try a ocean motion with a dart pump on a closed loop
