How close to powerheads?

Hello,

tried doing a search, but didn't come up with much.

How close can different SPS corals be to powerheads? I know every coral is different, I'm really just looking for a few examples regarding coral species and powerhead gph. I have a few spots about 4-6" away from a modded maxi-jet, and am curious if anything will be happy in that direct of flow. The powerheads produce about 2100gph. Thanks for any help

I had a candlight acro about 6 inches away from a K2 and about an hour later most of the flesh was peeled off. So yeah it was one of my favorites now its making a slow recovery. I learned my lesson and havn't put any thing in front of a powerhead since

A eco moded maxijet is very strong direct flow. I wouldn't put any thing directly in it's path for at least 18in.

corals can be close to ph's they just can't have constant, direct flow.

I do not like to use words like "anything", but IME SPS (or any coral for that matter) will not appreciate constant direct pounding flow.
