How do I do a freshwater dip on a tang?

Just get the ro/di water and make sure it is the same temp as the tank water he is in? How long do i leave him in? Thanks

You need to come close with the pH as well. In a dip IMO that's more important. I usually do multible dips, one min each for a few days if it's in a QT where I can net it easy.
