how do i get rid of it?

how old is your tank? how much do you feed? do you have a skimmer? salinity? Ph etc. what is your photo period. live rock? give some parameters. Hopefully with additional info someone will be able to help

Yes i have live rock, protein skimmer, only have 2 small damsels in a 100 g, so i only feed once every 2 days, tank has been running since october

Just use the suction method. . Take a 1/2" line of airline tubing. Fully submerge it to get most of the air out. Cup your thumb over each end (might need 2 people). . Then take one end out of the water. You can uncover the end in the water, but keep the end out of the water covered. Point it over a bucket, let go and now the water will come out creating a suction. .

Point the end that is in the water right over the sand, it will take all of that out along with a little sand. Put a little bit of new sand in to make up for lost sand. . .

Really instead of buying "critters" or changing water. Just export that stuff manually.

what type of water do you use for changes? do you make it yourself? R/O water? what about nitrates, phosphates? alk, etc. You can and should export this but you need to know why in order to rid this problem from your tank
