How do I gradually lower PO4?

Hi all,

It seems I missed the date my PO4 went over 0.04. It's now 0.10 ppm. How do I gradually reduce it so that my corals don't die off?

I was thinking that it seems my GFO might still have some life in it, so I could replace like 1/3 of it with fresh GFO. Then replace another 1/3 in a week, and so on. Ideas?

Throw all GFO out and just replace it will 1/3th like you say.

Dropping .06 on po4 isn't going to really affect things much. That's within the margin of error of testing.

dropping from 0.10 to 0.02 in 3 days never effected anything negatively in my tank. No matter what media you use, you should be fine.
