How do I safely level a big tank?

Im setting up a 180 gallon tank and my floor is not completely flat. It's the basement floor, so it's slightly slanted down towards the middle of the room where the drain is. I tried putting some water in the tank to see how bad the slant is and the water line is uneven by about a 1/4" from one side to another. The tank will weigh close to 2000 lbs once filled with water and rocks, so I'm not sure how to level it without stressing the stand.
I thought about putting a 1/4" plywood on one side to level the stand, will that be okay? is there a better way to level the stand?

I had the same issue when I had a 180 setup in my basement and I was more off level than that. I used wood shims under the corners and edges of the stand basically "filling" the gaps once I established the level plane (back-to-front and end-to-end). I had no issues with this approach. Additionally, If you are concerned about the look of this, you can add trim pieces around the lower edge.
