How do I stick my sponge?

I got a red ball sponge from Reeftopia approx 2 mos ago and since then I've had a hard time getting him to attach to anything. I've tried to use some underwater epoxy and stick him to a piece of rubble, but every time I try to move it it just falls off. Superglue would probably work best but how do you apply it underwater? Can you even do that?
