How do they grow?

Candy cane and torch please keep in mind they are both about 2" tall and heads are 1" wide. Where does new growth come from on both?

Candies grow by fission of the heads. A new mouth forms and then the head splits in two. A torch grows the same way, but it can also sprout whole new heads out of the stalk. Keep your calcium and alk up for growth and if you feel like it, spot feed the candies and see what happens.

I have discovered that they will eat just about anything......meat based. I have come up with a concoction that I target feed my coral at night and the Candy especially seem to be doing well with it....

For those who are wondering: the mixture is Microvert and Zooplankton by Kent, a little Phytoplankton, cyclopeeze and Reef Chili by Bulk Reef Supply.
